My name is Janine Garcia, and I am a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care pharmacist and a ReCODE 2.0 Certified practitioner. I am also certified to administer and score MoCA tests, and recieved a Certificate in Aging for UNC at Chapel Hill. 

 

For over 15 years, I have worked with patients with endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory and mental health disorders across a wide variety of settings. My passion is helping people reach their health goals by strategizing from both a conventional and functional medicine lens. Once our body heals, we tend to rely less on medications and supplements to feel well.

 

Having seen the cruel effects of dementia take hold of so many, I decided to become trained in the Bredesen Protocol. Helping others through this journey, I have witnessed firsthand the frustrations, challenges, and emotional toll that cognitive decline can have on a family. I  also understand how some pieces of the Bredeson protocol can be difficult to implement.

 

Given my experience and training, I am offering the same support that I would give to my mother to individuals concerned about their cognitive health.
